Our Sidemen
When a member of Los Orchids is unable to attend a show, or we wish to enhance the show, then one of these very talented musicians is called in because......
The show must go on!
In memory of Larry Pigott September 17th 2008 Larry is missed by all of us and we will continue to honor him through our music. Larry, our good friend has passed, but his memory will always be with us. We love you Larry! "Please let me introduce to you, the leader of the band....the man that makes us sound so good...... sir Larry Pigott. He is a hard working, dependable, wonderful person and sound technician. He works closely with Pat Tennis to secure a great sound at any gig we may play. This is no easy task since the band plays venues that are both in doors and out, large, small, you name it and Larry has had to deal with it.....hats off to Larry and his crew!" Meet Darryl Siguenza - Drummer & Singer
Darryl began his musical career in Seattle performing his first paying gig at the tender age of twelve. Mentored by the late great Ernie Hatfield Sr. a former member of the Ella Fitzgerald band, he learned to "listen" and developed his musical ears.
By the time he was 19 he had already backed up John Lee Hooker, Johnny "guitar" Watson, and opened shows for The Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd. His group Mojo Hand was one of the most popular groups in the Pacific NW and the band is a NW rock legend. He started rock band TKO with bassist Mark Seidenverg later adding three more members to complete the band. This group was signed by CBS records to a three record deal and worldwide tours soon followed. He recorded their biggest album to date "Let it Roll" that broke the Top 100 and has never been surpassed in sales by any album TKO subsequently released. Darryl left the group after the first album because of "creative differences" and has never looked back. Over the years he has played with everyone from Buddy Miles to J.B. Hutto to Alice Stuart and continues to hold down the fatback drum groove with some of the Northwest's most well known musicians.
